24 Films Guaranteed to Make You Feel Christmassy
Alt-flix,  a one-stop resource for fans of "non-mainstream, cult, indie, left-field, (and) art house films," has put together this annotated list of movies that trigger the "Christmassy" tingle. The fact that most of the featured flicks are decidedly mainstream, massively popular, and box-office smash hits doesn't matter to the film fanatics behind this U.K. site. They cheerfully acknowledge that even their "cold hearts" are warmed by these widely loved movies. Got a problem with that? Bah, humbug on you! Some of the selections, like "Groundhog Day," are included just to get you in the mood. Others may spark some soul-searching about the exact qualifications of a Yuletide picture (if it has snow, does that count?). But the picks for the last week of December rank as undisputed holiday classics: "The Muppets Christmas Carol," "Miracle on 34th Street," and the all-time champ of Christmassy confections, "It's a Wonderful Life."
