English Russia We're not poking fun of the Russians anymore. These days, we let them take care of that themselves. Every day, the irreverent crew at English Russia scours the Web for objects, pictures, and events from the former Eastern Bloc that boggle the mind and amuse the soul. For example, does South Africa's ambassador to Russia really wear leather pants? Do Russian mice and early cell phones truly look this antiquated? Just how intimidating are the Ukrainian police? With a good dose of tongue-in-cheek humor, anyone and anything could be a target of their daily findings. How about this Soviet-era luxury limo or vodka in a bag (a mere 22 cents)? Admittedly, we can't get enough of this stuff, so we say "Na zdorovye" to English Russia, and hope they continue to blog about their beautiful people and homeland. (in Humor) |
