Apple's Get a Mac Ads Israeli or Palestinian, Democrat or Republican, red state or blue—we have no compunction about traipsing across any of the third rails of polite conversation. Just don't expect us to take sides in a really incendiary debate: Windows vs. Mac. Yessir, color us neutral. But that doesn't mean we can't appreciate a good commercial, regardless of which platform it's touting. Even the staunchest Windows supporter has to admit the new "Get a Mac" ads are pretty funny and contain at least a grain of truth. Twelve in all, they boast production values more suitable for YouTube and star John Hodgman of "The Daily Show" and Justin Long from "Ed." Our three faves are Out of the Box, Network, and Restarting. So Get a Mac. Or a PC. But watch these commercials—they're funny. (in Marketing & Advertising) |
