Seacology, an independent, nonprofit organization, works closely with islanders to preserve the biodiversity of islands in the face of environmental changes and pressures from outside development. Projects on 84 islands worldwide span from the Caribbean to the North Atlantic to the Indian Ocean to Micronesia. Armchair travelers can follow a travel dispatch or view project photos.
