10,000 Reasons Civilization is Doomed
Burger  King's new "Quad Stacker" makes the list (#1,431). So do plastic bags (#18). Mel Gibson's here (#81), Chuck Norris pops in (#103), and Nancy Pelosi has secured a vote (#1,382). That's just a sample of the many reasons why society is careening toward certain disaster. And if it weren't for the six meddling friends behind this community-updated project, it might have happened without documentation. (Referencing "Scooby-Doo" in a Yahoo! Pick should probably count as #9,999.) So whether you agree with #20 (the extinction of the West African Black Rhino), #50 (tip jars), or #1,387 (tube tops come in size XL), come on in and take a gander. It might not solve anything, but it's likely to amuse you or rile you up. At least you won't succumb to lack of interest (reason #1,289). But remember that "people who try to start internet fights" is point #1,408 for why humanity faces a catastrophic end, and play nice. (in Issues and Causes) |
