July 29, 2006 Previous | Next To-Do List Blog One of life's small but universal satisfactions consists of drawing a straight line through the next item on a carefully crafted To-Do list. No matter how behind schedule, we can always foster an artificial sense of accomplishment by scheduling the most rudimentary of tasks and breezing through them like the world-beaters we aren't. Here we find a nice variety of lists: From those that bespeak the precise planning of an obsessive-compulsive to those that involve a level of pessimistic prognostication worthy of Nostradamus. Some sport the redactive mania of the CIA, while others could really benefit from the use of a little strikethrough. Also included: Not-To-Do lists that are resentful, innocent, embarrassing.
