Animator vs. Animation David fought Goliath. The Jedi struck back against the Empire. And now, animation rises against animator in this Flash version of the little guy raging against the machine (or, in this case, the human behind the machine). The tale begins with a lone stick figure saddled with the requisite Charlie Brown–sized head. But this cartoon isn't going to kick the football. When its malevolent animator attempts to push it around, the scrappy figure stands up for its rights. It resists with every means possible, in the process wreaking havoc on the desktop, blowing up swaths of the design program, and enlisting an army of replicas to the insurrection. We won't give the ending away, but we'll just say that you may never think of the "Save changes to Untitled-1?" prompt the same way again. (in Comics & Animation) |
