Veoh Touted as the "first Internet television peercasting network," this site encourages you to upload video, sample clips, and linger for hours and hours. (We did all three.) The stuff here ranges from camcorder silliness to slick, professional shows. If you want more, download Veoh's free client software, but you can enjoy the selection without it. Begin by browsing through the top rated or most popular sections, or zip straight to the showcase channels. There you'll find the superb cult classics selection, which includes selections from the golden era of Kung Fu programming. We lost about a day right there. The music, car, and skateboard channels all drive home how some activities just look spectacularly good when done fast to a lashing beat. (in Computers & Internet) |
