Gawker Stalker To date, our only brush with greatness was spotting the guy who played Screech on "Saved by the Bell" at a hot dog cart near Central Park. Guess we were born under an unlucky star... Well, that was before we discovered Gawker Stalker, the latest in social networking and celebrity tracking in the New York metro. With the vigilance of our fellow citizens and Gawker Stalker's use of online mapping, we can hop into a cab and possibly catch a peek at famous New Yorkers like Heath Ledger, Julia Roberts, or (shudder) Courtney Love. The reports of celebrity sightings are often immediate: "Harrison Ford is at Bottega del Vino right now eating lunch." And they sometimes veer into the creepily pyschic: "Richard Dreyfuss will arrive at Penn Station at approximately 10:53pm this evening." Occasionally, a bout of poetry even peeks through: "Just seen James Gandolfini on Jane Street walking in the New York sunshine." Now we can thank our lucky stars for Gawker Stalker.
