Reasonably Clever's LEGO-Based Tarot When he was a wee tot, Christopher Doyle's parents gave him a set of cheap, knock-off building bricks. He soon found that these were insufficiently detailed for his needs, so he swore that someday he would buy tons of real LEGOs, build weird stuff, take pictures of it, and put it all on the Internet (OK, maybe not that last part). This boyhood dream has resulted in, among other wild ventures, this LEGO tarot deck. You can now consult the fates with the help of a LEGO Darth Vader and Dumbledore. Star Wars and Harry Potter figure prominently in his deck, but so does Doyle himself, along with his family and friends -- all represented by LEGOs. From catastrophe to new beginnings to love, this tarot shows the way, and proves that with the help of some little plastic shapes, a child's dream really can come true. (in Toys) |
