For  those of you who couldn't get enough of the "Choose Your Own Adventure" books, we present interactive films. Select from a small set of icons. Choose the cocktail, say, or a pair of underwear. Drag each onto the grid. After you've placed four, hit "view," and a brief movie clip will unfold that somehow involves your items, invariably stars a leggy Asian assassin, and boasts a title like "The Rotten Obedience of the Unkind Planet" or "New York Destructo! The Most Demanding and Irritable Fad." Be wary, though. Your one vignette is part of a bigger mystery, and the desire to know the full story may cost you many hours selecting, dragging, and watching. (This is experience talking.) While here, also check out the Directors' Showcase, a selection of "cell phone oriented" shorts. This is a "Samsung supported project," so the cell phone plays the obligatory role, but we enjoyed the movies nonetheless. (in Short Films) |
