Walt Disney's Apartment Were you aware that Walt Disney had a furnished apartment on Disneyland's Main Street? We can't decide if that's perfectly reasonable or maybe a little strange. The Orange County Register presents this multimedia tour of Walt's crib hosted by Disney historian Tim O'Day. We are, however, very confident in our disapproval of the décor: lots of tassels and crushed red velvet. It looks like either a cozy, grandmotherly place or a 19th-century den of iniquity. You're invited to click on various items in the apartment to hear Mr. O'Day go into detail on objects like the Victrola and the rotary phone. We especially liked the grilled cheese maker in the kitchenette. (in Entertainment) |
