ASIFA-Hollywood Animation Archive Yes, the kids at Pixar are doing great things with computers these days, but let's not forget the glory days of ink and paper. Fortunately, The International Animated Film Society: ASIFA-Hollywood hosts this truly great catalog of line drawings and film stills from the animation greats of yore. We were particularly blown away by the work of Mary Blair, who was the artist responsible for that amazing "It's a Small World" mural in Disneyland. Other highlights include Virgil "Vip" Partch's caustic and hilarious anti-war cartoons, Kay Nielsen's lapidary fairy tale scenes, and the simple elegance of Bill Nolan's instructional work.
