The Forbes Fictional 15 What do Daddy Warbucks, C. Montgomery Burns, and Santa Claus have in common? One, they're not real (sorry, kids), and two, they're all ridiculously wealthy. Forbes has compiled a surprisingly in-depth list detailing the top fictional characters of independent means. Not only does the magazine rank the bank accounts of 15 made-up millionaires, they describe how each icon earned, stole, or fell bass ackwards into their respective fortunes. For example, did you know super-criminal Lex Luther was once president of the United States? Or that Scrooge McDuck earned his money in mining and dropped out of Cluck University? Interesting, but be warned that not all revelations are pleasant. We found zillionaire Santa's alleged aversion to elfish labor laws downright shocking. (in Entertainment) |
