The Wonder World of K. Gordon Murray This supremely impressive fan site is dedicated to the late, great K. Gordon Murray, a low-budget movie producer who released dozens of children's fairy tale films, grind house exploitation flicks, and dubbed Mexican monster movies throughout the 50s and 60s. Called "The Anti-Disney" for the defiantly inferior quality of his children's films, Mr. Murray was a hard-hustling businessman first and foremost. But his cinematic legacy remains: the supernatural Aztec thriller "The Living Head" ("La Cabeza Viviente"), the incendiary race drama "Shanty Tramp," and the stirring Christian fable "The Prince of Peace." The latter is in fact a straightforward film adaptation of the town of Lawton, Oklahoma's annual Passion play (featuring all original cast members!). And are the stories of the Long Island cult who worshipped K. Gordon Murray as Evil One Reincarnate really true? Read for yourself! (in Movies & Film)
