The Revealer It's not often that you come upon African American Baptists, religio-rock stars, Argentinian Jews, and lobbyists for atheism all hunkered down in the same place. But here at The Revealer you will encounter them all -- and many others. This "daily review of religion and the press" comes out of the Department of Journalism and the Center for Religion and Media at NYU, and rests on the premise that "belief matters, whether or not you believe." It shares media sources that range from Buddhism to Sikhism, and offers annotated guides to holy books, holy wars, and random voices. The Revealer describes itself as "not so much nonpartisan as polypartisan -- interested in all sides, disdainful of dualistic arguments, and enamored of free speech as a first principle." Sounds good to us. (in Religion & Spirituality) |
