Animals Have Problems Too
Does  grad student Zach VandeZande have too much time on his hands? Actually, we're happy he does, otherwise we'd never have known the joys of his web comic. People write Zach and suggest animals to draw. Others submit problems to him. Zach cleverly combines the two and creates cartoons that are often bizarre ("Chicken trapped in a blueberry bagel"), sometimes funny ("Bee with allergies"), and perhaps even sprinkled with a hint of genius now and again ("Dog with shoes that don't match"). Because of the random nature of many of the suggestions, Zach's site makes for enjoyable reading if you've ever spent time wondering how animals' brains really work. So let's hear it for the affectionate octopus, the out-of-touch owl, and the echidna with a somewhat more personal problem. (in Comics & Animation) |
