Omnipelagos
A  kind of universal six-degrees-of-separation experiment, Omnipelagos claims to be able to associate the Age of Enlightenment to David Hasselhoff, or George Burns to George W. Bush (Richard Pryor and an illicit substance are involved). Admittedly, some of the links get pretty tenuous (who knew Hasselhoff was a Lutheran?), but we were impressed with the answers to our challenges. How about Rasputin to Kabbalah through Alan Rickman in the movie Dogma? Or the Cold War to Evel Knievel through famed simian astronaut Ham the Chimp? Feel free to twiddle with the Search Options to vary the number and/or obscurity of the connections. The possibilities, and potential work hours wasted, are endless. (in Computers & Internet) |
