The War of the Worlds eComic
Invading  your brain like an unwelcome probe, the hype surrounding the War of the Worlds movie is unavoidable. With so much of it fluff of the highest order, we were thrilled to find a strand of substance worthy of showing off. Behold, today's Pick! Fans of H.G. Wells' classic tale will no doubt dig Dark Horse's far from comical adaptation. Updated weekly (think of it as a sort of serial novel), the beautifully drawn e-comic gives a fresh look to the age-old story of a planet caught off guard by invaders from beyond. And while you can't yet read the entire story in one sitting, we're confident that if you read the first installment, you'll be back next week for another chapter. (in Comics & Animation) |
