Project C-90 Musical formats are a lot like musical chairs. Just when you've found a good one, somebody tells you to move on. Records gave way to 8-tracks, which quickly yielded to cassettes, which smartly stepped aside for CDs. While vinyl albums still have devout fans, tapes are becoming a forgotten artifact of the '80s. Too bad, as nothing said "young love" like a well thought-out mix tape, complete with a trying-too-hard title. If you're even the least bit nostalgic for those carefree days of sitting by your boom box, finger on the pause button, Project C-90 will surely bring back a Memorex or two. It catalogs just about every blank cassette ever made. What's the point? There is none, except to give you something cool to look at, if not listen to. (in Music) |
