Yes,  yes, we know. You hate your job. You'd quit if you could, but then who would collate the regional sales reports? So there you sit, plotting a half-baked coup on management and wondering if you've been cursed with one of the lousiest jobs ever. Well, good news -- unless you happen to be a 17th century plague burier, you can take comfort in the fact that things used to be a lot worse.
