TennaBalls.com Many a nifty accessory has been inspired by the automobile, and not all for functional reasons. You can't use those fuzzy dice in Vegas, and that little piggy head crowning your car antenna won't improve your radio reception. But you can still spot these things all over the road, bobbing shamelessly in the wind. Be it Tweety, Winnie, Minnie, Betty, Snoopy , Krusty, or Curly, at 70 mph you can cause a 10-car pileup trying to catch a glimpse of the latest icon to sit atop someone's antenna. And as smilies were to the 1970s, that damned Jack is to the 2000s. Like wearing your political sentiments in the form of a bumper sticker, affixing an antenna topper may be another trend that just keeps on going and going. (in Automotive) |
