Improv Everywhere Charlie Todd and his band of guerilla thespians inflict confusion and joy on the populace of New York City on a regular basis. Improv Everywhere, a shadowy consortium of exceptionally silly people, stage public pranks. They ride subways with no pants. They conduct synchronized swimming exercises in the Washington Square fountain. They take over 35 listening stations in the Virgin Megastore, and then do weird dance moves. They give a random rock band the gig of their life. They place a tuxedoed attendant in a McDonald's bathroom. They are charming liars, mischievous do-gooders, and warm-hearted deviants. No one's been arrested, and no one's been hurt. But we're all amused. (in Performing Arts)
