Happy Meal Toys in Japan
McDonald's  has taken a bit of a PR beating lately, but one thing Ronald and his purple pal Grimace still have in their corner are Happy Meals. One burger, an order of fries, and a toy for your tyke -- some things don't change. The trinkets certainly have a different flavor on the other side of the Pacific, though. This site gives those of us stuck in the States a look at some of the "collectibles" that come with the kid-sized lunches over in Japan. Poke around and you'll find some unique selections, including this -- history's lamest freebie. Of course, there are more than few cool toys, too. Who knew the Golden Arches recruited spies at such a young age? C'mon, get happy. (in Toys) |
