A few months ago, James Slevin began walking from London to Cape Town. As he explains, this trek is not "because it's there...it's about seeing that there is more in the world than I can see here and now." And more importantly, it's about raising money for the charity ActionAid International. You don't have to put on your walking shoes to help out, just jog on over to the site. Start by reading about the quest, check out the route and photos, and see where James is now. Peruse the blog for sporadic updates on the condition of James' feet, his diet of couscous and cheese, and the challenges of typing on a French keyboard. If this charming Brit entertains you, maybe you'll help him reach his fundraising target of £50,000. |
