Canto do Brasil The Internet is always evolving and so too are the ways people use it to express themselves. Canto do Brasil is a perfect case in point. Here, the personal photography exhibit (something that dates back to the dark ages of the Internet) has evolved into an enchanting series of mini-documentaries. Focusing on the people and terrain of Brazil, each documentary explores a different region of this beautiful and diverse country, from a tourist-free Sao Joaquim wet market to the fantastic confusion of Sao Paulo to a sacred mass in Sao Joao Del Rey. As photographed by Geoffrey Hiller, this site offers its visitors a loving but honest look at a country facing many challenges. (in Photojournalism) |
