The Blog of Death Writing about death is never easy. We'd all much rather write about kittens, rainbows, and unicorns. Because writers of obituaries face this struggle every day, they've sharpened their skills to the point where they can eloquently sum up an entire life in fewer than a thousand words. Death serves as the great equalizer, and the well-written obituaries featured on this web log celebrate the lives of everyone from the famous to the little-known. But all have a story, and these obits bring those people who have passed away back into the spotlight for a final bow. In April alone, you'll find tributes to a Bollywood star, a CEO, and the oldest genetically modified dwarf mouse, among many others. While the subject matter may seem dreary, the subjects celebrated on this interesting site are anything but. (in Death and Dying) |
