B-Movie Central For fiscally challenged filmmakers, transforming a tacky story into something compelling requires fearlessness and resourcefulness. If the production goes smoothly (which is no guarantee), they may end up with a camp classic. If not, it's "Hello, Mystery Science Theater 3000." These films, known as B-Movies, make up an underappreciated genre in Hollywood. B-Movie Central is the place to "B" for reviews and articles on every b-draggled, b-guiling, or b-musing movie from The Brain that Wouldn't Die to Santa Claus Conquers the Martians. With so much studio money thrown away on high-price bombs (we're looking at you, Pluto Nash), here's a site that shows some love to a rougher, tougher, and braver breed of auteur.
