The Karate Kid Website The '80s were a decade that left us with many vivid memories (e.g. Hee Haw's teary series finale, the Cabbage Patch Kid riots of '83), but few media-inspired events can top The Karate Kid (and its popular sequels) for lasting cultural significance. Talk about a film -- nay, a phenomenon! -- that had it all: the spunky teen that refused to give up, his all-knowing mentor with unique (but effective) methods of training, and, of course, the evil maniac bent on ruling the tri-valley area through an unholy army of mindless karate soldiers. If you suspect that Miyagi's influence may be waning, we challenge you to check out the loads of images, cast bios, and little-known trivia on this site. But that's not all. Like the Karate Kid himself, this site goes the extra mile, dishing up a real-life tour of Daniel-san's tumultuous world. Trust us when we say it sure beats painting the fence. Bonsai!
