Joseph Wu's Origami Page
No screenshotmere folded paper is this. Joseph Wu has painstakingly created dozens of elaborate origami models of mythological beasts and wild animals. He also offers an excellent introduction to the history of this ancient art. In Wu's world of paper, pigs grow wings and fly, and five sheets of paper transform to Harry Potter's giant friend. Origami can be for fun and profit too -- Wu folded a newsprint shark for the New York Times, a plaid armadillo for a wallpaper ad, and a series of designs for a Stoli vodka campaign. Would-be paperfolders can make use of Wu's PDF instruction sheets, although most projects are for intermediate and advanced students. Beginners might be better off with the amusing one-fold Stegosaurus. Happy folding! (in Design Arts > Paper)
