Time Tales
If  a picture is worth a thousand words, what does an abandoned photo say? The folks responsible for this site don't know the answer, but they do plan to give these found photos a home. They collect vintage and current pictures from flea markets, thrift shops, streets, and alleyways and put them online. The snapshots are bereft of their original context, and the life stories of the subjects are lost to time, but they raise a number of provocative questions. Are the people portrayed here still married? What was the occasion for this glamorous portrait? What happened to Claire, Mama, and June?
