Official Rock Paper Scissors Strategy Guide It's not as simple as holding out a fist, flat hand, or fingers in a sideways "V" -- oh no, there's much more to Rock Paper Scissors. In fact, to many it's not really a game at all. It's the world's most popular method decision-making process and is known by many names, such as Jenken, Jan Ken Pon, Roshambo, Shnik Shnak Shnuk, Ching Chong Chow, Farggling, and Scissors Paper Stone. The World RPS Society is out to standardize it as a sport, hold tourneys, and keep people from sullying real RPS with silly ideas like dynamite. Once you've learned the basics, it's time to tackle advanced strategies. Study the opening gambits of the masters, and then practice your RPS technique against a virtual trainer. Those truly dedicated to the pastime may want to join the society. But heed these words of advice: think twice before using RPS for life or death decisions. (in Games) |
