The Goonies Vacation The '80s kid flick The Goonies inspired a rabid cult following, and two fans, Ron Fugelseth and Patrick Radcliff, have taken their love of the feel-good film to the road. The duo headed off to the small town of Astoria, Oregon, where much of the movie was filmed. The result is about 15 minutes of slickly edited footage following the guys around town. This short movie features Goonies scenes and recreations, with the buddies cleverly inserting themselves into the action. Especially touching is the emotional moment when they gaze upon the original Goonies house. For die-hard fans, there are more details about the locations such as the Clatsop County Jail, Ecola State Park, and Goat Rock State Beach in California, where the triumphant final scene was shot.
