The Ticketstub Project Most people have a ticket stub lying around -- maybe stuffed in a desk drawer or wallet -- that serves as a reminder of a memorable event. Matthew Haughey, the creator of this ticket-stub repository, is one such collector. About two and half years ago, he came up with the idea of creating a place where you can upload a scanned image of a saved stub. Recently, he finally sat down and cranked out the site where "the many receipts in our daily lives" can be shared. Read about an enthusiastic potential juror whose dreams were dashed with endless waiting or hear the story about a last-minute trip to Yankee Stadium and the subsequent no-hitter tossed by Doc Gooden. This site is brand-new and growing every day with stories about Pearl Jam concerts and billiards tournaments. If you have a ticket stub in your possession, why not share that piece of personal history with others? (in Performing Arts) |
