Professor Barnhardt's Journal
Still screenshotupset that your favorite web zine folded like a cheap lawn chair? Long for the days when Word and Feed provided compelling and irreverent commentary? There's a new zine in town, and from the looks of the first few weeks of Professor Barnhardts's Journal, it seems we're in for a literary treat. Every first Tuesday of the month a theme issue will be published, in which a group of writers tackle a single subject or a question. The first week's theme -- "Why I Write" -- finds several recognizable names explaining what inspires them and churns their creative juices. On the other Tuesdays of the month, a new article will be published. Bob Sassone, the editor in chief, can't tell us what's next, but that's the kind of unpredictability that will have us returning week after week. (in Society and Culture Magazines)
