Nerd Watch Museum A few months back, we featured the Boombox Museum, a sub-site of the Pocket Calculator Show and an outstanding tribute to the ghetto blasters of the '80s. The same folks bring us the Nerd Watch Museum, which pays homage to another technology that was once popular but has since fallen from grace. A must-have accessory during the late '70s and '80s, these LCD timepieces featured all kinds of geek gadgetry. The common calculator watch is prominently featured, but have you ever seen the Seiko TV Watch? How in the world did a grown man use the buttons on these classy Pulsar and Citizen watches. The gold-plated digitals would look nice in a business or casual setting, and the Citizen Radio Watch offers an interesting, if bulky, alternative to the boombox. Take your time when checking out the music-playing Casio Melody or the LCD-over-analog-dial Pulsar -- they just don't make watches like they used to. (in Measurements and Units)
