Journal of Applied Treknology Do you remember the guy from high school who sat in the back of class and drew incredibly detailed spaceships on his notebooks? Well, he and all his friends now proudly display their drawings online, along with specifications for most of those starships, shuttles, and hoppers. Star Trek fans may have seen something akin to these vessels in the TV shows and movies, but the ones depicted here are original creations based on Federation technology in Star Trek. There are even a few alternative designs for existing ships, as well as designs that combine elements from several current Trek ships. The archive of historical ships is an entertaining look "back" at space travel of the 21st to 23rd centuries. You can even submit your own designs, but remember, no exaggerated specifications, grandiose nomenclature, or any other forms of silliness. Only serious spaceships need apply. (in Television) |
