Animation Blast
Animation  with attitude -- that's what this indie web site serves up. Starting with animation's golden age in the mid-20th century and going right up through today, Animation Blast features interviews with animators, reviews of industry movies and books, and the latest information on new projects and revivals. Animation historian John Canemaker talks about Walt Disney's influential "Nine Old Men" animators, while Amid Amidi peeks inside the Cartoon Network Studios. Finally, flash back to 1966 with a comment from Oscar-winning animators John and Faith Hubley, who found the prospect of computers taking over the animation field "ridiculous."
