Crackerpacks
Light  the fuse on this intriguing look at firecracker pack labels. So often we ignore the packaging and go straight for what's inside. In the case of firecrackers, most people get their bang from the explosive, not the artwork. Thankfully, this site compiles the collectible labels from a variety of countries and eras. Browse through examples of intricate and interesting wrappers including a view of the Taj Mahal, a treeful of monkeys, and an odd-looking Mad Rat. What these things have to do with small explosives is beyond us, but we do know this tribute to "pop" art is definitely da bomb. (in Collecting) |
