Needlepoint Museum This isn't your grandmother's Precious Moments cross-stitch collection. The museum preserves the "goofier, louder, odder, and more mysterious needlepoints," such as a detailed graphic of the human digestive system and an homage to two of the Dionne Quintuplets. You'll be amazed at the complexity of works like the Yiddish crossword puzzle and perhaps a bit disturbed by some images of animals. Groovy mushrooms hang beside tasteful nudes in this gallery, and all of the works make you wonder about the weeks, months, or maybe years of time devoted to this painstaking stitchery.
