Rugburn54: Hi all. I need the chords for "Stairway to Heaven" -- will trade for baywatch jpegs. just got a Les Paul Goldtop and I need to break it in.
Lumpy88: Kewl! I saw one of those at the Smithsonian's virtual exhibit, The Electric Guitar. Kicked some seeeeerious arse! ~:-o
Rugburn54: Yeah. Saw that too. They've got the history of the electric guitar from the earliest experiments in the 20s and 30s to the wicked custom jobs of Prince and Junior Brown. Even some pages on how electric guitars work, complete with sound clips. Learned how the electric guitar was originally developed out of the need to produce louder and louder sounds to fill dance halls and other large performance spaces.
Lumpy88: These go to eleven! ;-)
Phunky_Phred: Hey losers. WRONG CHAT ROOM!!!
DungeonMasterX: elecktrick guitarz rule.
Rugburn54: Yeah, they're cool, cauz they got wicked custom jobs by famous designers. I'd get one by Achille Castiglioni.
DungeonMasterX: castiglioni rulez.
Rugburn54: Totally. Caught the recent MOMA retrospective on castiglioni. The website has everything from a curator's essay to a catalog of selected works. I love his lamps. They say the Bibip is based on the Roadrunner from the cartoons.
DungeonMasterX: coyote rulez.

JoeyStudMuffin: I am not CaptainKirkusReview. CaptainKirkusReview's alias is CrazyOnionMan.
Lumpy88: Anyone seen Digital Journalist, a multimedia magazine for photojournalism in the digital age? The February issue has a thorough first-hand account of the Pope's recent trip to Cuba, complete with QuickTime video scenes of Havana and the Pope's Morning Mass, as well as RealAudio of Cuban church singers. You can also browse the magazine's archive, which includes the feature 25 Years of the Presidency.
JoeyStudMuffin: I'm sad today.
Lumpy88: Maybe we can make you feel better. :-) Why do you feel sad?
JoeyStudMuffin: BECAUSE I'M SO HOT! ANY FOXY LADIES WANNA GO PRIVATE!?
Phunky_Phred: WRONG chat room, DORKFACE!!!
Rugburn54: JoeyStudMuffin, maybe you should calm down and watch KCTU Channel 55. Broadcasting out of Wichita, Kansas, KCTU now offers a 24-hours a day 7-days a week RealVideo feed. They've even got their entire schedule on-line. Not to mention a feed from KSMI TV, a Wichita-area Spanish-language station.

DoogieBrowser69: Hey Gang! Got a hot tip on a fresh new site! Money.com has a cool online feature called "Don't Get Stung...by the Year 2000 Bug." At the end of the millenium, computers will see the date change from 99 to 00. Question is, will they think it's 2000, or 1900? And if they can't tell the difference, what kinds of trouble will that cause? It explains all the ways the problem might occur, what you can do to prepare, and how to cope. Check it out!
Rugburn54: gee, thanks, doogie...
DoogieBrowser69: Hey Dudes! Guess what else? You can get the best of Court TV online! Check out Court TV Famous Cases, it's a collection of material covering exactly what the title suggests! They've got the Menendez brothers, O.J. Simpson, Louise Woodward, Timothy McVeigh, and others. It's a great way to get an overview of the issues and facts behind the trials, with everything from transcripts to actual documents used in the cases. IMHO, it's good reading. ;-)
Rugburn54: time to go, doogie.
